Hi. My name is McKaylie.

Photography has been a passion of mine ever since I was little, but I didn't really get good at it until I was in high school. My love for portraits grew when I was part of my high school yearbook staff where I was taking pictures of people daily.

I started Memories by McKaylie Photography when I was 16 years old, mainly doing Senior Portraits and taking pictures of my friends and family, but trust me, I have learned so much since then! I learned the right way to pose people, how not to pose people, correct camera settings, editing, and all things technical. It was definitely a lot of trial and error but now things just come naturally! When I am not working on school or spending quality time with my family, I am either taking pictures or editing them. 

One thing that makes me different from other photographers is that I make sure to capture your true, authentic self. I strive to make each and every session fit you and your very own unique personality! This is YOUR session so you have complete control over what you want to wear, where you want to go, and what you want to do! Of course, I will be there the full time to help guide you along the way! I am all about making my clients feel comfortable and staying true to themselves during their session with me because I know how scary it can be to have a stranger take your pictures! I love this job of mine so much, I honestly couldn't picture myself doing anything differently! 

A little bit more about me, I graduated from Montgomery High School in 2019 and graduated from Texas A&M University in 2023 with a Bachelors in Telecommunication Media Studies ! (Whoop!) I am a proud daughter of two very loving parents, an older sister, and I have two fur babies: one very spoiled pug, Lola and a spunky lil frenchie named Libbie. My family is the light of my life and I would not be where I am today without the constant love and support from them. 

Photography isnt my only love, I also love to work at my church where I am the Event Coordinator! I am very involved and love to serve and participate in the young adults ministry, worship team, and a student ministry!
